VAXbb is a fast, text-only bulletin board for use on the Web. It's written in PERL, and runs on UNIX box (though an NT port should be possible). Its functionality and use is based loosely on a VAX-terminal-based bb system that the author used in school.

WebBBS is, as the name implies, a Web-based bulletin board. Unlike most other such boards, though, WebBBS stores messages as simple text files and creates HTML pages "on the fly." This is a modified version of the popular WebBBS script by Darryl C. Burgdorf. The original version is compatible only with UNIX and Sendmail. We've simply ported this wonderful script for Windows NT/BLAT mail.
