NStouch
 0.0 NStouch is a nameserver tool written in Perl and PHP. The perl script monitors all nameservers that are put into the config file nameservers.dat. It will email the admin when the nameserver(s) go down, keep a log, and tell you the % uptime. It also includes a php interface for interacting with the script from the web. This tool can be combined with MRTG to graph output and see the response times.
