This package is meant to provide backup and restore services of MySQL databases. It provides a friendly tab based user interface that lets the users create backups of given MySQL databases to files, listing previously generated backups, restore a given backup and deleting backup files. Currently this package requires PHP with the bzip or zlib extension enabled to generate compressed backup files. It also uses the gonxtabs class to create an user-friendly navigation menu. Localisation support is enabled to let you configure your application with your default langage and change it, or to add a new translation. 1.0.6 : You can choose between create backup of hole DB or select specefic tables to backup. 1.0.7-PRE2 : All PHP notice error messages have been removed. Brazilian Portuguese,Dutch, Chinese and Tagalog translations have been added.

This script is supposed to parse an Apache log file, look for all domains that exceed a certain amount of accesses (threshold is set as percentage of all accesses), normalize/generalize them and then add it to a .htaccess file in order to block those domains for the future. v1.1: bugfixes, small structural changes, RECOMMENDED UPDATE.

Lots of hosting companies disable the 'USED' command in mysql, often used to LOAD DATA INFILE in a CSV format. This script is the attempt to work around that. It automatically analyzes the structure of a MySql Database, compares it to the structure of the data in the CSV file, and imports the data. Further testing is pending. PHP Random Pictures Add-on For Gallery Written by Kevin Williams This set of functions provides an add-on to the awesome PHP gallery. It allows you to select a random picture from all of the pictures and albums that you've added to your gallery. It also allows you to print the time and date of the last time you updated the gallery.

This code reads the names of all folders in a directory and generates a menu of links to those directories. If there are no directories, it checks the next folder down and uses those instead. A class to list the latest RSS feeds news sites. I have included a caching facility, this is important to have. Most sites that allow you to list their news items will probably ask that you cache the pages for at least half an hour, it,s only polite to conform with this. I've not really tested this script a great deal, too busy working. The feeds I tested were the ones in the test area of the file and some others RSS v0.91, v2, RDF. They all worked fine however if you find anything let me know and I will make the time for alterations.

The PHP Class Generator is a small windows desktop application that allows a PHP programmer to generate Entity classes from a MySQL database table. For instance, if the user has a table in his or her MySQL database called customers. With this app, that programmer can generate an Entity class called customer that will hold all of the proper getters and setters as well as constructor, destructor and loadById methods. The app also provides a DatabaseManager class, which will connect to the MySQL database using the provided connection parameters given by the user. This class can be modified to fit the users needs. The application allows for quick, easy and consistent class design for better web application implementation. PHP Class Generator was written using MS Visual Studio 2003 and the 1.1 .NET frameworks. It was written in VB.NET and uses a 3rd party component from Core to connect to the MySQL database. It also will make a copy of adodb to the class path provided at runtime. An MSI (Microsoft Installer) has been made for easy installation on windows machines (Linux version of the PHP Class Generator is not available). It requires the user to have MySQL and 1.1 .NET frameworks installed on a Windows XP, Windows 2000 Pro/Server or higher.
