This patch allows Exim mail server to use multiple interfaces/ips for outgoing smtp connections. It allows the system administrator to set up an ip pool with the desired ips and then qmail will rotate trough the list of ips for each outgoing email.
The ip pool is very easy to manage as it's just a text file containing ips that can be modified ( for adding/removing ips ) at any time, without even having to restart exim in order to apply the new ip pool.
DnsSwitch is a perl script that can be used to switch the ip of a domain to other ip in case of failure. The script will run on the server that is hosting the nameservers for a domains and check that domain for availability over the HTTP protocol, if the server that hosts the domain responds then the script does nothing, if the server does not respond then the script replaces the ip of the domain with the ip of a backup server that hosts the domain.
